Very interestingly being here, we all suffer from the paradox of choice. We identify a potential partner based on the smallest detail, or lack there of. It is so endemic that there is now actual peer-reviewed research on this topic. To think that we used to meet people in public; bars, restaurants, libraries, grocery stores, or at the bus stop. Now we have their analytical measurements before we hear their voice. It's wild and scary all at the same time. Thankfully, I am 185cm, so I make that measurement with some room to spare.
I am occasionally sarcastic (see language fluency above) but never in a demeaning way. I use it as a mechanism to avoid quiet times in conversations. I abhor silence in a new setting although I have become a professional at the 'pregnant pause'. I am semi-retired but active. I do not sit still for long or often. I workout, eat well, and maintain my fitness.
The partner I seek is active in life. Has time and desire to create a partnership. Is not materialistic (hard pass if you are) nor is she a peasant. She values her time and wants to gather experiences, not sunglasses, shoes, or purses. Life is about what you did along the way. Not the shoes you were, the purse you carried, or the designer you enriched.
